Becky – Scheduling and Insurance Coordinator

Registered Dental Hygienist

My name is Becky, and I have worked in the dental field since 1978. I served as a dental hygienist in the periodontal field for 32 years. After retiring from my hygiene career, I chose to continue to serve the dental profession I love. This led me to Dr. Wright. I love working with our patients and watching them grow and mature during their treatment time. I am happily married to an amazing guy, and we love and support our three children. All my children were competitive swimmers, and we have spent many weekends supporting them at the pool. My passions are gardening, quilting, and spending time with my family. My loyal and faithful furry companion, Diesel (a rescue German shepherd), is always glued to my side – he follows me through all my activities of each day!

Barb – Orthodontic Assistant / Records Coordinator

Certified in coronal polishing

Hi, my name is Barb! I serve as an orthodontic assistant as well as the records coordinator. Dr. Wright treated all three of my children, and while treating my oldest daughter offered to bring me on board as an assistant. I have been with Dr. Wright since 2007 and am still going strong. My husband and I were both born and raised in Iowa but love our new home in Geneva. We are very active with our church, and served as co-chairpersons of the Barn Sale for St. Peters Catholic Church. We love spending time in our back yard with our kids and our dog, “Buster the Beagle.” My husband and I enjoy DIY projects around the house, and I love baking and my husband loves eating my baked goods!

I enjoy seeing all our patients in the community and knowing I had a part in their beautiful smiles. I truly believe that “A smile is the best thing you can wear!”

Vicki – Orthodontic Assistant

Certified in coronal polishing

I am a crazy busy mom of six children! My husband and I love our life and cherish our time with our kids and our puppy, Hudson. I have been in the orthodontic field I think longer than Dr. Wright (haha)! I am an avid Cubs and Blackhawks fan. If I could meet one famous person, it would be Billy Idol – oh wait a minute, I already have! Wow, what an experience!!! I was speechless… can you believe it?!

The best part about being an orthodontic assistant is engaging in conversation with our patients. Each child is so different and so interesting; they all bring something unique to the world. My goal each day is to make sure my patients finish their appointment with a smile on their face and that they feel good about who they are!

Maria – Office Manager/Treatment Coordinator

MS, Speech/Language Pathology/Business

I serve as the treatment coordinator and office manager. I am happily married and have two amazing children. I enjoy exercising and creating healthy menus for my family. I love HGTV. I’m going to say that again, I LOVE HGTV!!!! My husband and I have renovated several homes, and yes, I know how to hang sheet rock, tape and float it, hang a door, lay flooring, hang cabinets, frame up a wall and trim a cased opening, and am still learning (it always looks so easy on Fixer Upper).

The best part of my job is seeing how excited the kids get when they get their braces off. They can’t stop looking in the mirror. A beautiful healthy smile is the best gift a parent can give their child; it is truly a gift they will cherish for a lifetime! Keep Smiling!
